Lost Little Doll




But that was unfair, she thought. Unfair -- why should she rot and wither? She wished to be loved, to be played with, to be adored like all her sisters.

So out she climbed and off she waddled to search for a friend.


First she found a little girl, just like she! Dressed in fine clothes, like she once was. The doll saw herself in that little girl, surely they'd make fast friends.

Yet, when that little doll presented herself, that girl scowled and scoffed. What an ugly toy, not suited to her at all.

That little doll would be abandoned yet again.
